Wood Flooring

Wood flooring can be used to bring a contemporary chic feel to a newly decorated room, or to add rustic charm in an older property. The great thing about wooden flooring is that it comes in such a wide variety of colours; from very pale to very dark. This means it can fit into any existing colour scheme or pattern. Real wood flooring is incredibly durable and hard wearing so it’s a great fit for any space. Wooden flooring needn’t be as expensive as you would expect. With engineered wood flooring, layers of hard wearing woods, plywood or MDF are put together and finished with a top layer veneer of the wood of your choice. This allows you to get the look of a real wood floor, but at a much more affordable cost. It’s often hard to tell the difference between an engineered wood floor and a real hardwood floor, without looking very closely.
